Introduction
OEB Enterprises is a versatile business that specializes in children’s books and hair and body products. As the developer responsible for OEB Enterprises’ online presence, my mission was to create a comprehensive website that effectively showcased their children’s books, allowed customers to purchase products directly from the site, and streamlined their communication with customers through automated newsletters. This project aimed to enhance the online shopping experience, improve brand visibility, and facilitate direct sales.
Client Goals
OEB Enterprises had clear objectives for their new website:
Children’s Books Landing Page: The client wanted a dedicated landing page for their children’s books. This page needed to provide information about the books and include direct links to purchase them on Amazon Kindle.
E-commerce Integration: OEB Enterprises aimed to sell their hair and body products directly from the website. They required a fully functional e-commerce system with WooCommerce integration to manage product listings, prices, and inventory.
Payment Gateways: The client sought a secure and convenient way for customers to make payments. Both Stripe and PayPal payment gateways needed to be integrated to offer multiple payment options.
Newsletter Automation: OEB Enterprises wanted to establish and maintain a connection with their customer base. A bi-weekly newsletter automation system was required to send updates, promotions, and news to subscribers.

To meet the client’s goals, I implemented the following strategies and features:
Children's Books Landing Page: I designed an eye-catching and informative landing page dedicated to OEB Enterprises' children's books. The page included book descriptions, cover images, and direct links to purchase the books on Amazon Kindle, simplifying the buying process for potential readers.
E-commerce Integration with WooCommerce: I integrated the WooCommerce plugin to create a seamless online shopping experience for customers. The platform allowed for easy product management, including adding, editing, and categorizing hair and body products. Customers could browse the product catalog, view detailed product descriptions, and add items to their cart.
Payment Gateways: To ensure secure and convenient transactions, I integrated both Stripe and PayPal payment gateways. This provided customers with a choice of payment methods, enhancing the overall shopping experience and accommodating a broader customer base.
Bi-Weekly Newsletter Automation: I set up an automated newsletter system that allowed visitors to subscribe to OEB Enterprises' updates and promotions. Subscribers received bi-weekly newsletters containing news, product launches, and exclusive offers, helping to foster a stronger connection between the brand and its customers.
